What is Shepherd Impact Council

Shepherd Impact Council (SIC) is a leadership development board of accomplished business professionals and community volunteers. A one-of-a-kind opportunity for leadership development and impactful board service that truly makes an impact on our patients, families, and staff.

Mission Statement

Shepherd Impact Council’s mission is to build off the passion and perspective of our members and to further engage them and their networks to inspire philanthropy and commitment to Shepherd Center’s mission of helping people with a temporary or permanent disability caused by injury or disease, rebuild their lives with hope, independence, and dignity.

Membership Commitments

Shepherd Impact Council members must meet the following commitments:

  • Partner with SC Foundation staff to leverage and engage your current networks with Shepherd Center in a minimum of two scheduled events per year. Examples include events in your home, tours at Shepherd Center, corporate partnerships, family dinners, Shepherd Center special events, etc.
  • Members will consider Shepherd Center a philanthropic priority and make an annual gift that reflects that priority. Also consider attending/sponsoring one of Shepherd Center’s annual special events.
